Move from store issues to reviewed fixes.
CodeCraft takes findings from every other crew, works out the right kind of fix, prepares it, and returns one clear outcome for your developer to review: a change applied with an undo point, a pull request, or guided steps.
Your team and agency bring the expertise. Vortex IQ helps move the work forward.
The problem, what Vortex IQ does, what your team receives.
A store setting or piece of content is wrong and needs changing.
What Vortex IQ doesPrepares the exact change through the platform's API, validates it, and applies it after approval with an undo point.
What your team getsThe change made, recorded, and reversible.
The fix needs code in the theme.
What Vortex IQ doesPrepares a scoped change, has a separate review crew challenge it, and opens a pull request.
What your team getsA pull request your developer can inspect and control.
The fix cannot be made through any API.
What Vortex IQ doesWrites clear, numbered steps for the person who can make it.
What your team getsGuided steps rather than a dead end.
One example, start to finish.
A performance check flags third-party scripts that may be delaying how quickly a page becomes usable.
Inspect the relevant theme code and prepare a scoped change addressing the finding.
A pull request containing the proposed code changes, ready for your developer to inspect.
Your developer reviews the approach, checks that essential store features still work and controls the release.
Move the conversation from "this needs fixing" to a concrete change your development team can assess.
The product reference records a finding on third-party, render-blocking scripts.
Prepare a theme-code change addressing the finding.
The reference records the workflow moving through planning, approval and build to a real pull request in the store's theme repository. A merge, deployment or measured speed improvement is not established.
The merchant gets a concrete proposal its agency developer can inspect and progress.
Pull request opened
Bring your team. Bring your agency. Choose the work you want to move forward.
Your people set the priorities and review the work.
Your team and agency set the priorities, bring the expertise and review the work. Vortex IQ helps with supported checks, preparation and execution, giving your specialists more capacity to improve the store.
Your development agency reviews code proposals, checks that essential features still work and controls the release. CodeCraft prepares; your developer decides.
What you can review
- The finding CodeCraft received and the lane it chose: API fix, content, code or guided.
- The plan, and for code, the pull request diff and the independent review.
- The outcome reached: applied, pull request opened, or guided steps.
What happens next
- You approve the plan before anything is applied.
- Applied changes get an undo point where the platform supports it; code changes wait in the pull request.
- The crew that raised the finding checks the result and closes it.
Where your team stays involved
- Approving every plan.
- Reviewing and merging pull requests.
- Handling guided steps that need a person.
How approval works. Production changes follow human approval by default. A crew prepares the work; a named person on your side approves it; the outcome is recorded with an undo point where the workflow supports one. Findings a crew cannot resolve are handed over as guided steps, never silently dropped.
Platforms and scope
API and content changes on BigCommerce today, with other platforms confirmed per connector. Code changes need a theme repository CodeCraft can open pull requests against.
What this crew does not do
- A proposal prepared, a pull request opened, a change applied and a result checked are four different outcomes. Each page and ticket says which one was reached.
- No change is applied without approval.
- Undo points depend on the platform and workflow, and are stated per change.
