Vortex IQ did not start with a pitch. It started with an agency that spent over a decade in the trenches of other people's stores, and built the tools to run them better.
The founders ran a BigCommerce, Shopify and Adobe Commerce agency in London, with deep experience in multichannel commerce through their own product, CloudHub, for multichannel inventory and order management. Over the next decade it also built StagingPro, its own staging and rollback tool for BigCommerce merchants, to ship changes to live stores safely.
Susant Patro won Adobe Commerce Rockstar 2023, Adobe's developer contest, for DryRun Pro, a staging tool for Adobe Commerce and Magento. It won the Developer Tooling category, chosen from over 65 submissions, and was showcased on stage at Adobe Summit in Las Vegas.
Built on that track record, Vortex IQ set out to bring the same detect-explain-fix discipline to every commerce platform, with AI agents doing the work and people signing it off.

Our founders spent more than a decade running other people's online stores. The hard part was never knowing what to fix. It was finding the time to look, and then changing a live store without breaking what already worked. Every change carried revenue risk, so the important ones waited.
Most merchants still live there. Their money leaks in the gaps between a dozen tools: a payment that failed and nobody followed up, ad spend that bought nothing, a release that quietly broke checkout. They usually hear about it from a customer.
We built StagingPro so changes could ship safely. Vortex IQ brings the same discipline to all the work a store needs. Specialist crews find the problem in your own data, write it up with evidence and prepare the exact change. Your team approves it. It is applied with an undo point, as a pull request or as clear steps, and the crew checks the result.
