Can every use case run on every platform?

No. Available signals and actions depend on the connector, plan, permissions and workflow. The platform labels on this page show where a task is relevant, not a promise that every connector supports every read or write action.

What do the three work types mean?

Read and report returns evidence without changing a connected system. Prepare for approval creates a proposed output for a person to review. Managed action, where supported, can apply an approved change through a supported connector and workflow.

Do production changes require approval?

Human approval is the default for production writes. A bounded automation may run without repeated approval only when the action, scope, permissions and recovery path have been explicitly configured for that workflow.

Does Vortex Runtime include all these use cases?

No. This page describes the full managed Vortex IQ AI OS. Vortex Runtime is the planned open-source local subset for builders who want to run and adapt workflow automations in their own environment.
