Purpose

This integration powers Vortex IQ’s AI-driven:

Analytics & Reporting – unified performance metrics across GA4, Google Ads and BigQuery.
Optimisation & Automation – AI agents that propose and optionally apply improvements to campaigns and landing pages.
Monitoring & Alerts – real-time anomaly detection and performance alerts.

By combining multiple Google data sources, Vortex IQ helps merchants and agencies turn insights into action automatically.

What data Vortex IQ accesses

We only access the data required to provide the features you enable. For example:

Google Analytics – sessions, users, events, ecommerce data, attribution.
Google Ads / Search Ads 360 – campaigns, bids, keywords, conversions and budget data.
Search Console – queries, clicks, impressions, SEO performance and Core Web Vitals.
BigQuery – analytics tables and datasets you configure.
Cloud Logging & Monitoring – error logs, uptime, latency and performance metrics.
Cloud Storage – files/buckets you map to Vortex IQ for exports or model inputs.

Vortex IQ never accesses unrelated personal content and never sells or shares your data.

How your data is used

Your Google data is used to:

Power dashboards and insights inside Vortex IQ.
Feed AI recommendations and optimisation models.
Trigger real-time alerts on performance anomalies.
Apply Google Ads or Analytics changes — only if you enable this option.

Vortex IQ never uses your Google data for advertising, profiling or resale. You can revoke access any time from your Google Account → Security → Third-party access.

Non-sensitive scopes

1. Basic Google Account Information

– See your primary Google email address. Used for user identification.

…/auth/userinfo.email – See your primary Google email address. Used for user identification.
…/auth/userinfo.profile – See publicly available profile information. Used for UI display.
openid – Associate you with your Google identity for secure authentication.

2. Google Search Console API

…/auth/webmasters – View/manage Search Console data. Used for SEO insights and (optional) re-index requests.
…/auth/webmasters.readonly – View Search Console data for dashboards and reporting.

3. Search Ads 360 API

…/auth/adsdartsearch and …/auth/doubleclicksearch – View/manage Search Ads 360 campaigns and performance data.

4. BigQuery & Analytics Hub

…/auth/bigquery – View/manage BigQuery data. Used to query analytics tables.
…/auth/bigquery.readonly – Read-only access for reporting and dashboards.
…/auth/devstorage.read_only – Read Google Cloud Storage files you configure.

5. Cloud Logging & Monitoring

…/auth/logging.read – Read Cloud Logs for performance and error analysis.
…/auth/logging.write – Write agent logs to your Google Cloud project (optional).
…/auth/monitoring.write – Publish custom metric data into Cloud Monitoring (optional).

6. Cloud Storage

…/auth/devstorage.write_only – Write exports or model outputs to the buckets you map.

7. Google Ads API

…/auth/adwords – See, create, edit and delete Google Ads data. Used for optimisation and optional agent actions.

8. Google Analytics API

…/auth/analytics – Read/manage Google Analytics settings and data.
…/auth/analytics.readonly – Read-only access for dashboards and alerts.

This integration is available to verified Vortex IQ customers, including:

E-commerce merchants on Shopify, BigCommerce and Adobe Commerce.
Marketing teams and digital agencies.
Developers and operations teams managing performance.

Role-based permissions ensure only authorised users can connect Google accounts or enable write actions.

Security & Compliance

Vortex IQ follows Google’s API Services User Data Policy and the Limited Use requirements. We only use your data to provide features inside Vortex IQ.

No selling, sharing or exporting your Google data.
No use of your Google data for advertising or profiling.
Secure OAuth 2.0 flows — Vortex IQ never sees your password.
Data encrypted in transit at all times.
You may disconnect access at any time from your Google Account.
